Bio: She & her family live nearby here in Menomonee Falls.  Originally growing up near LaCrosse, her parents still live on the family farm.  She earned her degree in LaCrosse.  Her husband is an IT Engineer with a large equipment manafucturing firm her in the Falls.  Her daughter is a highschooler and figure skater with 32 medals & 3 trophies from many competitions, including two nationals (Colorado Springs & San Diego) with a third coming up in Hershey, Pa.  Her son is a middle schooler and an aspirint speed skater, who participates in Badger Speed Skate Club & Lego Robotics Team.  Tammy enjoys crafts like Cross-stiching, but perhaps rarely when she isn't being "skaters mom."

Bio:  Married with 3 children (boy 12 & girls 10 & 6).  Dawn is a girl scout leader for both of her daughters' troups.  She also is Coach for Odysey of the Mind (a creative problem solving think-outside-the-box program) for both her son's and oldest daughter's teams, and their competitions.  So she is a busy lady.  And her husband is a busy man as a Senior Financial Analyst.

Bio:   The first thing you notice is her "sunny" disposition.  Always the smile---and often a quick quip.  And if there is a  problem to solve, she delves right into it, there is a solution:  "Just for grins, let's try this!"  Pam loves the outdoors---the cliff behind her house with its overlook,  the Revelation that takes place in Spring, putting her hands in the soil,....and hiking, hunting & fishing.  And, of course, she fits right in here:  she's another Harley enthusiast!  ("A Motorcycle is a must, in the same way a Christmas tree has to come in winter!")

Pam's family is diverse:  married 30 years, with 4 adult children in the combined families---so lots of love for all.

Adding or specializing "hardscapes" such as walls, outcroppings, patios, walks, and water features, are done with ease. Among his awards is a first place landscape for a prominent photographer set in a unique atrium studio, including a wterfall in a natural setting.

Qualifications: Experience (in Spades!!) AND earned professional degrees in horticulture and marketing from two of SE Wisconsin's specialty colleges, followed by years of university "short courses" in landscape design, trees, lawn care, and horticulture. He is equally at home in a greenhouse, nursery, a landscape needing renovation or one having no landscape at all.

Bio: Steve is very comfortable with all types of clients, residential, commercial, condominium, and smaller home landscapes, or prominent names from the Lake Country to Mequon to Lake Drive, even a one-owner island property. People enjoy meeting and working with Steve. He can offer emphases from delicate and beautiful to functional and pragmatic. Married 26 years to "Bernie" - both from big families - with 2 college age daughters in Arizona or Madison. They love to go to their "up north" cabin and the campfires - but truly, they love most their home backyard gardening, both vegetables and flowers. Each year Steve puts together 35 large planters with flowers to decorate the patio. He knows and loves native plants and visiting botanical gardens near and far.

Char has been with the company for more than 16 years, growing continually in skill, conscientious work-standards, and increasingly into supervision and training. She has graduated through all the mowing steps: Trimmer (with a 3 day trial run she aced), Operator, Crew Leader - and ultimately to Co-Manager of Mowing Operations as one of two Area Supervisors. The path in Snow Operations was similar, ultimately leading to successfully taking charge of all winter sidewalk services and crews, growing in skill and competence always.

Bio: Char has won several company awards, including "Trail Blazer," "Award of Experience," and "Stewardship Award." Very gregarious by nature, she loves people - and the customers whose grounds for which she is supervisor, find her endearing, conscientious, and a true "follow-througher" on her word. She loves her home, the Outdoors and her garden and long sloping lawn on a hill overlooking Long Lake. It is here that family and friends gather for good times. And sometimes they take the ATV's around the several acres. Or she takes a Harley ride - yes, she is another Harley devotee.

Qualifications: Loves the Outside and all things Mechanical, especially trucks and loaders. In winter he is the principal ice-control payloaders operator for loading the trucks in teh New Ice-Control Storage Building - they line up, back in and he scoops from the mountain, loads the trucks, and out it goes to serve customers. Ryan is very computer savvy and manages buying and purchase orders for the landscape and snow departments, as well as supervising the maintenance of the building and grounds.

Bio: Winner of several awards at American Landscape, including "Trailblazer Award" and the "Above & Beyond Award." Loves the "outside, trucks, the house, and 'American Landscape.' " Devoted to family and church. Married to Becky and has a 5 year old son, Noah.

11 years with American Landscape - from light to heavy duty trucks, small engine equipment, especially mowing equipment, landscape and construction equipment, and everything having to do with snow plows and ice-control equipment. Very little he isn't willing to tackle - very little. And goes the 11th mile and more when the big snows make their demands on machines and men.

Bio: Married to Michele 31 years with two adult boys. He is also very partial to his Harley - and his truck.

Bio: Serving as a controller for a manufacturing company in Tennessee, Shea began to have the desire to run his own company. So Shea and his father, Tyrrell began having long distance discussions about the operations of American Landscape. In 2002 the talk became reality:  His experience elsewhere earned him the position of managing the company and helping directly shape the next phase of American Landscape's future, first as General Manager and beginning in 2004 as the company's President.

Under Shea's leadership, American Landscape has achieved significant growth in all key company landscape service ventures, a stronger supervisory staff, an advanced sales team, and implementation of fresh ideas for productivity and customer service.

Shea believes strongly in developing a strong sense of company family. To this end, emphasis is placed on appreciation, loyalty and recognition as ways to show that no contribution is small. Shea aspires for American Landscape to be the kind of place where every person is treated with human dignity and immense respect.

In 2004, Shea sat for and passed a day's long exam to become the second Certified Snow Professional (CSP) in the state of Wisconsin. Previous to American Landscape, Shea practiced as a CPA in the states of North Carolina and Tennessee, eventuallly becoming a controller for a Tennessee manufacturer at the age of 25.

Personal & Family: Shea graduated from Franciscan University in Ohio, and married his college sweetheart in 1994. They are very proud parents of three girls and three boys and are members of Saint Dominic Catholic Church in Brookfield, where Shea serves on the Stewardship Committee. American Landscape proudly donates the horticulture maintenance services for the 20 acre parish campus. Shea is particularly proud of the company's work in the beautiful new Prayer Gardens on the parish grounds.

Or unless you count believing that there is a creative solution to anything and everything!
Or if you count learning the proper order of priorities as a business owner, if not the practice: 1st God, then Family, then Business - and in business, first be a good servant and make being an employer a Vocation.

Qualifications:

Bio: Tyrrell is our chief - sort of, as founder and Corporate President. Over 37 years experience and ownership in lawn maintenance, landscaping and snow service - he has worked, planned and/or designed in every aspect of this business at one time or another and continues to this day. There are customers more or less exclusive his. And he enjoys working on creative projects. Besides his years of experience, he has the one-room country school community, family farming, engineering, and teaching backgrounds, plus possesses degrees in several fields ranging from mathematics and physics to medieval studies and theology. He "recently" (in last 10 years) completed the raising of 5 children, and is enjoying a growing number of grandchildren, recently growing to 17!
