Shea Hughes, CSP President
Bio:Serving as a CPA and controller for a manufacturing company in Tennessee during the early 2000’s, Shea began to have the desire to run his own company. During that time, Shea and his father, Tyrrell began having long distance discussions about the operations of American Landscape. In 2002 the talk became reality, and Shea joined the company and helped directly shape the next phase of American Landscape's future, first as General Manager and beginning in 2004 as the company's President.
Under Shea's leadership, American Landscape has achieved significant growth in all key company landscape and snow service ventures, a stronger supervisory staff, an advanced sales team, and implementation of fresh ideas for productivity and customer service.
Shea believes strongly in developing a sense of company family. To this end, emphasis is placed on appreciation, loyalty and recognition as ways to show that no contribution is small. Shea aspires for American Landscape to be the kindest of places, where every person is treated with equal human dignity and immense respect, regardless of title or responsibility.
Shea is a member of Saint Dominic Catholic Church in Brookfield, where he serves on both the Seminarian and Stewardship Committees, and co-chaired their most recent capital campaign. American Landscape proudly donates the landscape maintenance services for the 20 acre parish campus. Shea is particularly proud of the company's work in the beautiful Prayer Gardens on the parish grounds. Shea is an also very active member in Catholic Professionals Forum and volunteers at St. Ben’s meal program in downtown Milwaukee.
